We would like to help student and indie filmmakers by collaborating to make movie magic, which is why we are creating the AiCa Initiative.  

So what is the AiCa Initiative exactly?

While we are still molding all the initiative, we can safely say our goal is to make it the #1 place to go for filmmakers. Our idea behind the AiCa Initiative is to create a place where film students & indie filmmakers could share their knowledge to help the filmmaking community grow.

We can all agree that a creative mind is having extraordinary powers because it allows us the freedom to make anything possible. Unfortunately having a creative mind doesn’t always mean you’re born with the skills to get the job done. As if trying to brake into an industry where a select few call all the shots isn’t scary enough, as a student you have to do it on a ZERO budget. Through the AiCa Initiative we want to build a community of filmmakers (new & old) that want to collaborate, teach, and learn from each other. This is why Kinetic House is proud to support the film community by offering a special type of collaborative partnership we call the AiCa Award.

The AiCa Award will help the winner(s) create their film, and Kinetic House will provide equipment and services to produce the winning script for film festival circulation. In addition to the award the AiCa Initiative will be creating a magazine to share all the MUST HAVE information every student and indie filmmaker should know, as well as feature projects of up and coming student filmmakers. Proceeds from the magazine will go towards helping fund the AiCa Award.
